Natural generation

Lettuce naturally generates as "Wild Lettuce" in the form of random patches, on grass blocks in most biomes with grassy soil, like plains.

Planting

Fully grown lettuce crops drop 1 to 3 lettuce items (2 per crop harvested on average).

Trading

Occasionally, a wandering trader can sell a lettuce for an emerald.

Usage

Eating lettuce restores 3 () hunger and 0.6 () saturation.

Farming

Lettuce can be farmed and harvested on farmland.
