Garlic is a food item that can be eaten by the player.

Obtaining
Natural generation
Garlic naturally generates as "Wild Garlic" in the form of random patches, on 
grass blocks in birch forests.
Planting
Fully grown Garlic crops drop 2 to 4 garlic items (3 per crop harvested on average).
Trading
Occasionally, a 
wandering trader can sell a garlic for an 
emerald.
Usage
Eating a garlic restores 1 (
) hunger and 0.1 (
) saturation but inflicts Nausea I for 3 seconds.
Farming
Garlic can be farmed and harvested on 
farmland.
