Survival:Onion

Onion is a food item that can be eaten by the player.

Obtaining

Onion naturally generates as "Wild Onion" in the form of random patches, on grass blocks in spruce forests.

Fully grown Onion crops drop 1 to 2 onion items (1½ per crop harvested on average).

Occasionally, a wandering trader can sell an onion for an emerald.

Eating an onion restores 1 () hunger and 0.5 ().

Onions can be farmed and harvested on farmland.
